Charles Crispin: An accomplished business leader
Charles Crispin is the Senior Vice President of Evergreen Re, Inc., a managed care reinsurance firm that provides reinsurance brokerage services to clients to help them reduce or eliminate unnecessary hospital services and other medical charges. Charles joined Evergreen Re in 1997 and served as the Chief Executive Officer. Under his leadership, the company rapidly grew to become one of the largest and most comprehensive brokers of managed care reinsurance in the United States.
Prior to his stint at Evergreen Re, Charles founded and managed his own medical consulting firm, Crispin Medical Marketing, from 1993 to 1997. He managed accounts and developed distribution strategies for various reinsurance companies. Charles Crispin was also part of several Boards during this period and was responsible for the development of the marketing strategy for one of the nation’s fastest growing Medicare Risk plans.
Charles also worked for Crispin Porter Bogusky, an advertising agency that grew from a regionally recognized company to a leading national firm. The agency has been twice-named as one of the nation’s top ten advertising agencies for the quality of their work. Creating pro bono advertising campaigns for healthcare-related charities were one of the agency’s early strategies to gain national recognition.
Charles received his degree in Economics from the University of Florida. He is an active member of several health plan organizations in the U.S. and a participating affiliate of the Managed Care Reinsurance Association, the Orange Bowl Committee, and Vistage.
